![]() Wendy was preceded in death by Alex Wegener, Harry Camp (step father), Julie Bissel (niece), Janet Soule (sister-in-law), Bill Wasserberger (brother-in-law). She knew how to engage and audience and keep them captivated with her story telling abilities. Her zest for life was contagious and her laughter could fill a room. She could be found reading stories, baking, and creating activities for her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She had a generous heart and quick wit which allowed her to connect with everyone she met. Wendy had many passions in life including restoring furniture, decorating spaces, swimming, shoes, golfing, crosswords, cribbage, creating art, traveling, utilizing her foreign language skills, and spending time with friends and family. Wendy loved her students and was dedicated to providing a high quality education with a side of fun.įollowing many chance encounters, Wendy ultimately married her soulmate Richard Soule on Jand were blessed with two children, Matthew and Hayley. Thomas.Īfter graduation, she taught Foreign Languages at South Middle School for 35 years. After Wendy graduated from Red River High School in 1973, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Spanish at the University of North Dakota, and later earned her masters degree in education from the University of St. Wendy was born on Mato Alex and Myrna Wegener, in Wahpeton/Breckenridge. Wendy Elise (Wegener) Soule, 66, of Grand Forks, found her eternal resting place in heaven on July 25, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.
